An entry to the Asia-Europe Foundation Short Film Competition 2012

a film by Blessy Naval

The film is about a man named Mr. Severo who is applying for a visa in a European embassy. In the course of his interview, the mutualities as well as differences between the Asian and European cultures would be explored. It would show a man’s nuances and how they are eventually broken.

For that, I sincerely regret my poor choice of words. It does not reflect my personal position in protecting, and promoting gender equality, and the struggle against discrimination.I am also apologizing to KAISA - Nagkakaisang Iskolar para sa Pamantasan at Sambayanan, to my partymates, and particularly to Alex Sixwillfix Castro who is a strong and passionate advocate for LGBT rights. - USC Chairperson Candidate SHAINA SANTIAGO
